BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
Communications Major at University of Hartford – from dancing mascot in promotions, to office receptionist, to on-air and music director – I’ve done it ALL!
1. How did you become interested in radio?
I wanted to be the one playing the music! Also listening to Howard Stern growing up.
2. Who were/are your mentors?
Former on-air coworker Dex Mitchell, and current Operations Manager Neal Sharpe.
3. How would you describe the music on the station?
Something you can listen to all day, every day! Wide music library!
4. How do you conduct the music meetings during these difficult times with COVID-19?
Carefully, with masks on! Or via phone.
5. What new artist are you most excited about?
Khruangbin – their sound is so different!
6. Tell us how Asheville has evolved over the past 10-15 years.
More hotels popping up, but way more local initiatives and support for local businesses, especially music venues.
7. Has live music begun again in Asheville? If so, how are the venues handling safety precautions?
Live music is back in Asheville! Most, if not all, venues currently have a COVID Policy (show vaccine card or negative test 48 hours prior to show).
8. What is your biggest challenge at the station?
Saying no, and not taking on too much work that I lose my mind.
9. What would surprise people the most about you?
I went to see a Tenacious D-hosted festival in California for my honeymoon.
10. Fill in the blank: I can't make it through the day without …
… Starting my morning with coffee and a good “pump up” song, like Elvis Costello’s “Pump It Up”!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time away from work?
Baking, being with my dog Ella, or paddleboarding with friends.

Manna Food Bank (local Feeding America affiliate) or the United Way.
